Overview

Safe Scrum Master (SSM) is a key role in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). This role is responsible for making sure that Scaled Scrum practices are appropriately implemented in a large-scale enterprise. Safe Scrum Master also extends beyond the traditional Scrum Master responsibilities of facilitating team processes. A SAFe Scrum Master helps to integrate teams into the larger program and fosters an environment to Agile adoption and Lean thinking across the enterprise in India.

The SAFe Scrum Master not only supports their own team but also collaborates with other teams and stakeholders including the Release Train Engineer (RTE) in larger Agile Release Trains (ARTs). 

Their primary duties include facilitating Scrum events like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Also helps to manage risks and dependencies, ensuring alignment with the broader program goals in India.
